Springtime in Charleston Means Pro Tennis on Daniel Island

Last year on on Sunday, April 19th, sixteenth seed Sabine Lisicki of Germany won her maiden Sony Ericsson WTA Tour title beating fifth seeded  Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark.

This year from April 10-18, 2010, the most powerful women in tennis will duke it out under the Springtime Charleston Sun. The Familiy Circle Tennis Center on Daniel Island, SC, is a smashing venue, with generally warm sunny weather for the tournament.

There is even a good Chinese Restaurant next door. Tasty noodles after the match anyone?
